  • Expectations from the surgery: Doctor will assess condition and patient’s requirement from surgery and will give the clear picture of what could be achieved post-surgery. An honest discussion of hopes and motivation for surgery will help set the stage for a satisfactory outcome.

Following process has to be considered while going for surgery

  • Complete physical examination of eyes: Surgeon will conduct physical examination and will include testing of tear production and measuring parts of eyelids.
  • vision examination: Doctor will examine eye power and will suggest if anything required.
  • Eyelid photography: Pictures of eyes will be taken from all possible angle. These photos help in planning the surgery, assessing its immediate and long-term effects, and supporting an insurance claim.
